1936 Radiating Dart Dress

This pattern is a size 16

This Dress has radiating dart tucks that are featured both in midriff and sleeve. The high necked blouse molds the body at the front and has softly draped fullness at the back waist. The blouse has the option of long, bracelet, or short sleeves. The two piece skirt has a seam at the front and back, darted at the hip, and joins the blouse on a low pointed line at the front and under the girdle across the back.

This pattern is based off an original 1930 garment.  The instructions are based off  the original construction of the garment.
They are lightly illustrated compared to modern patterns.
A muslin mock up is recommended especially if you are resizing.
A strong knowledge of dressmaking and construction would be helpful.
