1940 One Piece Dress and Jacket

This dress has a darted fitted blouse with a high round neck line with gathered fullness at front and a binding finish. Zipper closure at the center back. The shaped font blouse yokes ends at point in waist. The slim skirt has a double forward fan towards the hem. Blouse and skirt join under matching belt. Short darted sleeves. Button down cardigan jacket has a high round neck, extension band finish and gathered fullness concentrated at front waist. Short band finished or long sleeves.

This pattern is based off an original 1940 garment. The instructions are based off the original construction of the garment.
They are lightly illustrated compared to modern patterns.
A muslin mock up is recommended especially if you are resizing.
A strong knowledge of dressmaking and construction would be helpful.
