1941 Draped Front Dress

This Dress is Size 16 only.
This dress has a straight skirt with a center front panel in one with the bodice. Skirt sections join the bodice at the sides and back at a slightly lower waistline.
Low, shaped neck line can be made with or without frill. Drapery from center front panel release bust fullness. Sleeves can be long or bracelet length.
This pattern is based off an original 1940 dress. The instructions are based off the original construction of the dress.
They are lightly illustrated compared to modern patterns.
A muslin mock up is recommended especially if you are resizing.
A strong knowledge of dressmaking and construction would be helpful.
