1941 Easy to Make Dress

This Dress is size 16 only

This dress has a slim skirt that has gathers at side fronts and a back panel;  it joins to the blouse at the waist line. The side blouse sections have a decorative flap for appearance of pockets. The blouse has a straight back yoke and high neck with or without collar. The sleeves can be 7/8th or 3/4 with a turn back cuff.

This pattern is based off an original 1940 dress.  The instructions are based off  the original construction of the dress.
They are lightly illustrated compared to modern patterns.
A muslin mock up is recommended especially if you are resizing.
A strong knowledge of dressmaking and construction would be helpful.
