1942 One Piece Dress and Jacket

This pattern comes in Size 16

This dress is a collarless one piece dress and jacket. The shaped front and back yokes are cut in one with the bracelet length sleeves.
Gathered front fullness is concentrated between yoke and shaped lower front blouse sections.
Button and loop closing at the back of neck. Waist line Seam, the Skirt is a slim slightly flared 4 piece skirt.
The single breasted jacket has same shoulder treatment as dress and is darted at the front and back waist.

This pattern is based off an original 1940 dress. 
The instructions are based off  the original construction of the dress.
They are lightly illustrated compared to modern patterns.
A muslin mock up is recommended especially if you are resizing.
A strong knowledge of dressmaking and construction would be helpful.
