1950 Dress and Smock

This pattern is a Size 18

This princess dress buttons all the way down the front. Style 1 features short sleeves and contrast collar and pockets trimmed with bias tape and applique. Smock Style 2 is fashioned with bishop sleeves. The pockets are cut on the bias. The pockets and square front and back neck line of Style 3 are trimmed with rick-rack. 

This pattern is based off an original 1950 garment.  The instructions are based off  the original construction of the garment.
They are lightly illustrated compared to modern patterns.
A muslin mock up is recommended especially if you are resizing.
A strong knowledge of dressmaking and construction would be helpful
