This is a Dress gathered at the yoke at front and back.
View 1 has short sleeves and contrasting collar and cuffs
View 2 has a stand up collar with tie ends.
View 3 is Sleeveless with a low neckline and ties on shoulders.
This dress is very simple to put together and would be a great beginner's pattern.
This pattern is based off an original 1953 dress. The instructions are based
off the original construction of the dress.
They are lightly illustrated compared to modern patterns.
A muslin mock up is recommended especially if you are resizing.
A strong knowledge of dressmaking and construction would be helpful.
