This dress features a two piece skirt with a pleat at center back and joins the sleeveless bodice at the waist.
The bodice has a low scoop neck line front and back. The welt pockets are optional.
This pattern is based off an original 1954 dress.
The instructions are based off the original construction of the dress.
They are lightly illustrated compared to modern patterns.
A muslin mock up is recommended especially if you are resizing.
A strong knowledge of dressmaking and construction would be helpful.
