1955 Dropped Waist Dress

This Pattern is ONE SIZE ONLY (for now) size 14 (32" bust, 26" waist, 35" hip)

This dress pattern makes a beautiful 1950 dropped waist dress.

This dress has a princess seam bodice with a dropped waist

and a square neckline. The dress is put together with 4 panels gathered at waist and has the option for unique decorative tucks or added bows and

contrasting bias binding.

This pattern was based off an original 1950 dress.

The instructions are based off the original construction of the dress and are lightly illustrated compared to modern patterns.

A muslin mock up is recommended especially if you are resizing.

A strong knowledge of dressmaking and construction is suggested.
