1955 Two Piece Dress

One Size only

This dress features an over blouse top with a squared neckline.
The top has the option of either short sleeves or sleeveless.
There are slit openings at the lower edge in front and back.
The full skirt has inverted pleats over front and back seams. 

This pattern is based off an original 1955 dress. 
The instructions are based off  the original construction of the dress.
They are lightly illustrated compared to modern patterns.
A muslin mock up is recommended especially if you are resizing.
A strong knowledge of dressmaking and construction would be helpful.
